No, the interior lining is not waterproof.

Black on black gives a very subtle tonal look with very low contrast, and red on red will also appear tonal. We typically do not recommend tonal thread colors if you want the embroidery to be easy to read or stand out clearly. For better visibility, we suggest using a contrasting thread color.

This depends on the size and layout of the design, but generally:

Front only: 1–3 elements fit comfortably

Front + back: allows for more customization
